Bitcoin will not stay at $64,000. In fact, Bitcoin never gets stuck at a specific price. And I want to walk through why so that you don’t feel like you’re going to spend the rest of your life with Bitcoin bouncing around between $60,000 and $65,000. Okay, first of all, the pace of adoption by hardcore Bitcoiners is relentless. And although there’s a lot of noise on top of that, every single day more people figure out what Bitcoin is, more you know, how it is, how it works, what the nature of money, Austrian school economics, all that sort of stuff. That happens behind the scenes every single day. So, every single day there is more hardcore Bitcoiners that decide to trade in other assets in exchange for Bitcoin. And every single day there’s tens of billions of dollars of Bitcoin changing hands in the form of straight-up people like buying and selling Bitcoin between each other, exchanges exchanging Bitcoin for other currencies or stable coins or US dollars or whatever, as well as billions of dollars of trading volume among Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and all of that. So, behind the scenes there’s tens of billions of dollars of activity every single day even when it looks like nothing’s happening. Now, why can’t Bitcoin get stuck though? Well, first of all, it’s constantly in a state of rotation to higher conviction holders. And those higher conviction holders eventually own a higher and higher and higher percentage of the supply. Right now, long-term holders own a higher percentage of the total Bitcoin coin supply than ever in history. And eventually that number just pushes, pushes, pushes, pushes, pushes, pushes higher and it’s like inflating an underwater [clears throat] beach ball. And it’s like a, you know, a flexible underwater beach ball that, no matter how hard you try to hold it underwater, if you inflate it and you inflate it and you inflate it and you inflate it and you inflate it, eventually that underwater beach ball is going to break through the water surface because there’s just too much pressure pushing from underneath to make it break through the top. So, eventually long long-term holders and high conviction holders own a larger and larger percentage of the total, which means eventually they end up being pushing the price higher because there’s, you know, those people like me are not selling Bitcoin. You know, they’re not selling Bitcoin for US dollars, for example, and so eventually they always push the price higher. One more one one one minute. Okay. So, the Bitcoin supply is constantly rotating to higher conviction holders, which is pushing the price up over time, not today, but today the the user base of Bitcoin is a higher conviction holder user base than yesterday, which is the same as the day before, which is the same as the day before that. Now, in a bull market, you get a lot of noise on top of that and the price goes up because of short short-term conviction speculators, traders, but when the price comes up back down to bear market levels where we are right now, that really more or less reflects your long-term hardcore holder base because there’s nobody that’s low conviction that still owns Bitcoin right now. I mean, those people have been washed out a long time ago. Um Okay, secondly, why can’t Bitcoin get stuck? Why can’t it just like stay at $64,000? The answer is because the US dollar supply is constantly expanding. So, as the a supply of US dollars expands, even if Bitcoin holds its same ratio to the US dollar, it would go up about 7% per year. The reason for that is the US government prints out of thin air about 7% more US dollars every single year. It’s not exact, some years are higher than others, but on average for many decades it’s been about 7% more per year. So, if you have a finite amount of 21 million Bitcoin and the US government is printing 21 million, sorry, and And US government has three 23 trillion dollars of US dollars that have been printed out of thin air, and they keep adding 7% to that every single year, then eventually what happens is the the Bitcoin price has to rise just to keep up so that the the the uh the trading sort of ratio, the ratio between Bitcoin and US dollars is the same. If 7% more US dollars got printed every year, then there’s no way Bitcoin can maintain $64,000 per coin because again, it’s going to start edging up. So, in the case of Bitcoin, you’ve got long-term holders, high conviction holders that are constantly acquiring a larger and larger percentage of the supply base uh because they understand the fundamental aspects of a good money, but you also have the constant US dollar printing by the US government, which is pushing the price higher uh by on average 7% per year. So, inevitably, with those two forces and many other forces operating on Bitcoin simultaneously, it is always inevitable that at some point it will push the price back into a bull market, which then triggers, you know, layered on top of all that hardcore holders and accumulators, you get all of the speculators and traders and, you know, short-term money that piles on top of it, which results in a new boom. So, last time when we were in the bear market of 2022, the price got as low as 15,500. And the lowest it ever got that it actually maintained for even one full day was $16,000, 16. Well, that equivalent price so far in 2026 has been $60,000. So, that means there’s four times as much demand in four years. Literally quadruple demand the demand over the last four years for Bitcoin because instead of the floor price being 16,000, the the floor play price is now 60,000. Now, at some point in the future, the floor price will be 200,000, and then it’ll be 600,000. And for all the same reasons because long-term holders keep acquiring a larger percentage of the total. New Bitcoin holders are converted every day as people understand Bitcoin and they buy their first Bitcoin. I gave someone $100 of Bitcoin literally today who had never held Bitcoin ever in their life before. And they told me as soon as they got home they were going to buy $100 additional Bitcoin themselves. So, hey, today a new Bitcoiner is born. That person will probably now, over time, become a long-term holder, high conviction buyer, and they will buy it more and more Bitcoin. And that’s happening every day worldwide, all countries, over an increasingly large percent of the 8 billion people on Earth, of which only about 5 or 10% of them own any Bitcoin at all right now, and most of them it’s like 50 bucks. So, the relentless adoption of Bitcoin by new adopters, plus the relentless accumulation by long-term holders, plus the constant money printing by the US government, which guarantees that Bitcoin’s ratio has to go up in US dollar terms, means Bitcoin never gets stuck at a price forever. Back in the early days, people thought Bitcoin got stuck at $2, and then they thought it got stuck at $8, and then they thought it got stuck at $20, and then they thought it got stuck at a $10,000. They thought Bitcoin was stuck a thousand times in the last 18 years. Bitcoin’s price was never stuck.
