Bit Key is brilliant because they shut down every attack vector that a hacker or a scammer could possibly use to get your Bitcoin. Let’s talk about them one by one because a lot of this just blows people’s minds. It’s it’s very similar and and the reason BitKey gets dismissed by a lot of OG Bitcoiners is they don’t know what to make of it. It’s very similar to somebody who is in the horse and buggy business that checks out a new Model T Ford for the first time. They’re like, “I don’t know. I I don’t see where you hook up the horses.” It’s like that’s the brilliance of it. You don’t hook up the horses. It drives itself with an internal motor, right? It’s a such a complete paradigm shift that it’s like somebody walking up to my 2026 Tesla Model Y and being like, I don’t know that I like this thing. I don’t even see where you put the gas in. It’s like, that’s the brilliance of it. You don’t put gas in it. It just drives without gas. It’s runs on a battery. It’s brilliant. But anyway, most of the world in the world of Bitcoin is stuck in the world of seed phrases or they’re stuck in the world of exchanges which use use usernames and passwords, which again is very similar to people who are stuck in a horse and buggy mentality and they dismiss Bitcoin because they can’t figure out where to hook up the horses. So, somebody shows them a Model T Ford for the first time, they’re like, I just I don’t see how to hook up the horses, so I don’t I don’t trust it. I’m just I’m just not sure how that thing works. Let’s talk about how brilliant Bit Key is and why they shut down all the attack vectors. Okay, so first of all, the first thing an attacker wants to know if they’re going to hack your account on anything is what is your username. But guess what? Bit key doesn’t have a username because it uses private keys. We’re going to walk through how that works. So there’s no username. So your username can’t get leaked on the internet with Bitkey because there’s no username. It uses private keys. So what about your password? There is no password because Bitkey uses private keys instead. So there’s no username or password to get leaked on the internet. Now again, I I know your your head is starting to explode here. You know, you’re having the response of like, wait, where do you hook up the horses to the buggy? You don’t because the buggy drives itself. It’s got a motor. It doesn’t need horses anymore. So Bit Key does not require a username or password because it uses private keys. The next thing a lot of bit uh Bitcoin hardware wallets use is seed phrases. And a lot of people who have used other Bitcoin hardware wallets have a hard time understanding how Bitkey works because they’re used to hooking up the horses to the buggy and they can’t figure out how to hook up the horses to the buggy. So they think, “I can’t figure out how to hook up a seed phrase to the Bitkey.” That’s the whole point. There is no seed phrase. Seed phrases are one of the primary things that hackers and scammers use to get your Bitcoin. But guess what? Bit Key does not use seed phrases because it uses private keys. So you don’t need a seed phrase. You don’t need a username. You don’t need a password. You don’t need a seed phrase. So all of the attack vectors that a hacker would typically use to compromise your Bitcoin and get your Bitcoin, they can’t use. So how does Bit Key actually work? Bit key uses what is called multi- signature. There is a key that is in the secure enclave on your phone. There is a secure uh there is also another key uh which is a different key that is in the secure enclave on the bit key device and then there’s a backup key that is in the secure enclave of what’s called Amazon’s nitro ultra seccure enclave which is what the the team behind BitKey uses. It’s a it’s part of Amazon Web Services. It’s like this ultra seccure server environment where you can audit the code and the public can make sure that what the code is running in the secure enclave is actually the code that’s you know that the the block team says is running. So in order with Bitkey to move your Bitcoin there’s no username, there’s no password, there’s no seed phrases, there’s none of that. So, when you want to move Bitcoin, you open your BitKey app, which uses either Face ID or Touch ID, depending on if you’re using an Android phone or an iPhone, or you can use a pin code on your phone, whatever. But it verifies your your identity, not with a username or password or or password. It verifies your identity of the device itself. Which means for a hacker or a scammer to get access to the key that’s on your phone, they have to have your face or your fingerprint. And they have to physically be holding your phone in their hand. Your face and your fingerprint are not good enough. It has to be your face and your fingerprint on your phone when they are physically holding your phone. Which of of course hackers and scammers are never physically holding your phone because they’re always in Romania or Russia or you know someplace else, North Korea, right? I mean hackers and scammers are never physically where you are. One of the keys is protected by biometric security on your phone itself. and the key is on the phone, which means the key is not available anywhere but in person with your own identity. And if you lose that key, you can restore that key from an encrypted C cloud backup using your BitKey device. Your Bit Key device, which has another one of the three keys, is protected by a fingerprint. So, it requires your fingerprint or if you have up to three fingerprints enrolled, a fingerprint of one of your loved ones or, you know, your spouse or whatever. So that key is protected because you have to physically hold the Bit Key device and it has to be unlocked. Just like your phone has to be unlocked by your face or your fingerprint or a pin code, the Bit Key device has to be unlocked by your fingerprint. Meaning a hacker and scammer can’t get the Bit Key device because they’re not physically you literally have to hold the bit the Bit Key device itself to have access to the key that’s on it and it has to be unlocked with a fingerprint. Additionally, the backup key that is uh held in the Amazon secure nitro enclave is only available for recovery purposes. If you lose both your phone and your BitKey device, then you can use the inc then one of your recovery contacts can use the secure encrypted copy. Let me back up. In the event that you lose your BitKey device and your phone, meaning you don’t have access to either of those two keys, one of your recovery contacts can give you a decryption key that then you, not them, but you can use with access to your iCloud account or Amazon uh cloud account. You can use the the decryption key provided by your recovery contact to decrypt that key and then you can use that key with the Amazon secure Nitro Enclave key to start a 7-day recovery which will then restore a key to a new BitKey device or a new phone. So, the Bit Key team has built a brilliant system where there’s no username to hack, there’s no password to hack, and there is no seed phrase to hack. And they did that in a way that it’s impossible to lose your Bitcoin because the the keys you control on your phone and on the Bit Key device are all backed up by biometrics. Either your fingerprint on the BitKey device or your fingerprint or Face ID or a PIN code on your phone. Uh and the only place your key exists other than that is your cloud account encrypted. And it can only be decrypted by your phone or the BitKey device. So there’s no way again without biometric login for access to be granted. And the company behind Bitkeye Block, which makes the Square payment terminals and Cash App mobile app, they can’t do anything with the key that they have access to in the Amazon Nitro secure cloud because it requires two out of three keys. Which is why to move large balances of Bitcoin, you have to touch the Bit Key device to the back of your phone so that both of those keys can connect and move the Bitcoin. So even if the government or the CIA or the NSA took over Block, the company behind BitKey, you don’t even need them. They can go out of business. They can cease to, you know, they can cease to exist on planet Earth because you still control two keys, which are the one on your BitKey device and the one on your phone. And if you lose one of those, you can go through the recovery process and still get your Bitcoin. But in in doing all of that, they shut down all of the avenues that hackers and scammers would traditionally use to get your Bitcoin, which is just brilliant. I mean, I I literally not only am I blown away that Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin, I am also blown away that the engineers at Block who make BitKey were able to engineer a solution that shut down all of the attack vectors by hackers and scammers. It ensures your Bitcoin can never be frozen. Your account cannot be restricted. Your account cannot be, you know, it cannot be confiscated, seized, frozen, whatever on an exchange like River or Coinbase or Strike. None of that bad stuff can happen to you if you have a Bitkey. And if you want to make sure that a bad guy cannot make you touch your Bit key to the back of your phone to transfer your balance, keep your Bit Key in a safe deposit box at a bank. Because I promise you, no bad guy wants to march you at gunpoint into a bank where there are surveillance cameras and security guards and magic red buttons that anybody can push and it locks down the whole bank and the bad guys can’t can’t escape. That’s not going to happen. So, if you’re worried about anything bad happening and you have a large balance above, yeah, I don’t know, five, you know, let’s say if you have a balance above $50,000 or something, then keep your bit key in a safe deposit box at a bank. And that way, even the bad stuff that a bad guy in person could make you do, they can’t make you do. Because if they hold you up at gunpoint in a gas station parking lot or in the privacy of your own home, guess what? It still doesn’t matter because your BitKey device is not at your home and it’s not in a gas station and it’s not in your car and you’re not carrying it around in your pocket, which you should never do. It is in a secure location, you know, in a safe deposit box at a bank which is only available during business hours and only with all of the security of the bank around it. And you have to show ID and you have to have your safe deposit physical key to get there. And they have to unlock the safe deposit box with their key because every safe deposit box requires two keys, the bank key plus your key. So if you’re using Bit Key that way, it’s basically geographically distributed multi- vendor multisig because to get to inside of the safe deposit box at the bank requires the bank key. It’s even more keys. So it’s just brilliant. The way Bitcoin was invented is brilliant. The way Bit Key was invented is brilliant. It shuts down all the attack vectors that hackers and scammers could possibly use while simultaneously making it impossible for you to accidentally lose your Bitcoin, which is just brilliant in every way. So, if you have a Ledger or a Treasure, buy a Bitkey. Use that instead. If you’re keeping your Bitcoin on, you know, River or Coinbase or Strike, buy yourself a Bitkey. Secure your Bitcoin with Bit Key. It is the only way to keep your Bitcoin out of the hands of hackers and scammers in a way that is easily usable by anyone and where your your account cannot get frozen or you know credentials are stolen. It’s keeps you safe and secure from all of that. Buy yourself a bit key and safely and securely store your Bitcoin that way. That is the best way for the vast majority of people to keep their Bitcoin secure for the long haul. And there’s even brilliant inheritance features to keep your Bitcoin secure for your loved ones if something bad happens to you. It’s brilliant. Buy yourself a Bitkey, use it, and sleep like a baby at night knowing that nothing bad’s going to happen to your Bitcoin.
