Legislative races off to early start in three key seats
Rep. Rita Martinson (R-Madison) is retiring from her post representing District 58 after 23 years of service.
Local tech executive Joel Bomgar appears primed to make a run at Martinson’s soon-to-be-vacant seat.
His official web site, www.JoelBomgar.com has already launched, and he’s already raised more than $100,000 through his political PAC Friends of Joel Bomgar.
“We’ve got an announcement coming in January and we’ll hit the ground running after that,” Bomgar said Friday. “I’ve put together a great team, and we’re already working hard.”
